Just minutes from the city, the town has a peaceful vibe, surrounded by plenty of nature to enjoy making it not only a great place to visit, but a great place to live. You will find many single family dwellings in this family centered suburban area, that is centered around a downtown that offers many dining and shopping locations. Favorite spots among both locals and visitors include the local harbor, town landing, hiking trails, the winter ice skating facility, and golf courses.

Just north of Portland with an easy commute.

Falmouth has access to all of Portlands great restaurants and shops, not to mention jobs and close proximity to the Portland Jetport.

Portland Town landing offers free public access to the water. Boat lovers enjoy a full service marina without the commercial bustle from the city.

Parks and Trails

Close to the city, but minutes from nature.

Visit the Gilsland Farm Audubon Center’s 2.5 miles of trails that wind through meadows, in and out of woods, and along the shore of the Presumpscot River estuary. Take the causeway, at the mouth of the Presumpscot River over to Mackworth Island. Find a 1.25 mile trail that loops around the island serving up fantastic views of Casco Bay and Portland. Or head over to the Presumpscot Falls/Walton Park for trails on a 4.4 acre parcel on the river.
