We are in the business of building unique and inspired custom homes, but residential construction is just one aspect of our work. We also handle permitting, planning, design, and engineering – as you might guess, a construction project involves many layers and decisions.

Our team has years of experience bringing old homes back to life.
We’ll start by visiting your site to understand the work you want done – we’ll also research the history of the structure, and any requirements from your town’s historical preservation or zoning board. When it’s time, our construction project manager will work with you to meet requirements and file the appropriate applications with your city or town.
Then the fun begins. Hay Runner creates and restores beautiful structures from years past to be used comfortably today. Because we bring architects, builders, custom millwork and project managers together all under one roof, working with Hay Runner means you’ll have a seamless transition from designing to completion.
Kitchen and Bath Design and Renovation
Whether you’re building a new custom home or have decided it’s time to renovate your outdated kitchen or bath, our team can make your vision a reality. Our in-house kitchen designer will start by guiding you through every decision – from cabinetry and built-ins to countertops and professional chef-grade appliances – that will make your custom kitchen the centerpiece of your home.
From there, we’ll coordinate all aspects of constructing your new kitchen or bath - from plumbing, electrical, ventilation, and lighting design to tile work, cabinetry, custom millwork and finish carpentry.
