Cape Elizabeth
Peaceful Town, CLose to the CIty
Cross the Casco Bay Bridge out of Maine’s largest city, and you will find quickly yourself in Cape Elizabeth. This is a town known for it’s long, gorgeous beaches, suburban neighborhoods and agricultural history. People who live here with families value the good school systems and sense of community. Residents (and dog owners) are not as much focused on boating, but rather beach activities at places like Kettle Cove, Fort Williams and Willard Beach to name a few. Many of the beaches are visible by car making this town’s beauty accessible to all.

You can reach the Portland Head Light through Cape Elizabeth off of Shore Road. It’s one of the most photographed scenes in the country!

Move to Maine, and trust us, everyone will want to know. The truth is, yes! However, the ocean at our footsteps keeps it tolerable, and you will adapt. You’ll want a good jacket, and before you know it, at the end of March, Spring will lead us to our ever so loved Summer. If you want more snow, head West.
The other great part of a Maine Winter? Even though there are plenty of attractions in Greater Portland to share with tourists, traffic will be lower in the Winter, so throw on a pair of boots and enjoy!
