Your Team for Household Repairs and Improvements

We have an in-house crew of great humans that love a good home repair problem to fix.

Since we like to start puzzle piecing right away, and we’re into efficiency, we’ll ask you for details and pictures upfront. If you aren’t sure we handle the services you need, please ask. If we can’t help, we have a great network of skilled tradespeople and we’ll find the right handyperson that can. Tell us about your project.  

Our handyman service philosophy

Because this stuff should be easy, we make it easy. When you register with our Hay Runner Handyman service, you have full access to a trusted and insured team of professionals that deliver on quality, efficiency, and cost.

How it works

Each time a Handyman, Electrician, Plumber, Tasker, Carpenter, Tech, Designer, or Project Manager is dispatched to your location there is a $50 dispatch fee. This pays for the overhead of our employees and the maintenance of the vehicles.

HANDYMAN (OR TASKER)

$60-100/ hour

You’ve got lots of little things on your to-do list, and we can help.

Maybe you need shelves hung, drywall repaired, or a room painted. Since small repair projects can be hard to estimate over the phone, we always start with a site visit to understand the repair or improvement you have in mind.

We may be able to start immediately, but even if we don’t, we’ll give you an estimate of the time and any materials needed. From there our goal is to complete your project to your complete satisfaction in the time frame we’ve estimated. For handyman projects, we have a one-hour minimum charge for our site visits.

ELECTRICIAN OR PLUMBER

$130 - $145 / hour

Rely on our skilled and licensed experts for your electrical and plumbing work.

You can book a licensed and insured electrician or plumber by the hour for small home improvements or repairs (e.g., new light fixture installs, GFI replacements, a new toilet install, faucet or shower head replacement).

If you aren’t quite sure where to start, our electricians or plumbers can come to your property to investigate the repair project and deliver an action plan. For all electrical and plumbing projects, we have a one-hour minimum charge for site visits.

HOME RENOVATION EXPERT

$80 -$150 / hour

You may not have the time (or desire) for larger DIY home improvement, so let our insured experts handle it.

Unlike some professionals that focus solely on bathroom and kitchen renovations, we’re equipped to take on any size job in any part of your residence, cottage or camp. We’d love to hear all the ways (and places) you’d like to improve your space.

If you need help with the vision, we also have architects and designers on staff. Our professionals are happy to head to your property to investigate your project and deliver an action plan. For all home renovation projects, we have a one-hour minimum charge for all site visits.
