Exterior rejuvination

PROJECT DETAILS

SCOPE
Located in the Back Cove neighborhood of Portland, this residence required some tender loving care to rejuvenate specific exterior elements. The homeowner specifically tasked us with redesigning the front steps, repairing and upgrading the gate, and revitalizing the backyard space.

Instead of opting for a pre-fabricated gate, our team collaborated with the client to craft a bespoke gate using metal and cumaru wood. Working in conjunction with Cumberland Ironworks, our wood shop team brought this masterpiece to fruition, transforming it into a distinctive focal point for the home.

The sun-soaked backyard now boasts a straightforward yet practical patio for entertaining, along with much-needed replacement steps.

“Hay Runner was wonderful! We presented Hay Runner with a number of issues on our Portland house that we wanted to address, some were larger and others small. Hay Runner approached this in a very practical way, as a series of discrete projects. The Hay Runner design team was incredibly creative and collaborative in assisting us work through various limitations due to our lot size and still end up with stunning results. As out-of-state owners, we greatly appreciated the team’s keeping us up to date and the Hay Runner attention to detail!”
