Stitch Fashion Show Fundraiser Draws an Elite Crowd

The Maine Crafts Association crushes it with STITCH 2024

We celebrated wearable art at the Maine Crafts Association annual fashion show fundraiser in June with a crowd of fashionistas.

Fashion designers came together to celebrate wearable art, sell their clothing and other goods. This year the show was held in Portland’s Bayside hotspot for large functions - Maine Studio Works on Anderson Street and Amy Paradysz reported on the event for the Portland Press Herald.

Hay Runner owner and most recent past president of the 501c3, Shannon Richards, helped manage the event with friends and family volunteers. Richards is seen here (right) with Executive Director, Whitney Gill (left), and MCA Director of Guild Fine Craft Shows, Lizz Brown (center).
